Conclusion

All in all, this is a great case for anyone looking to hot-swap SATA drives, in a nice-looking, cleanly executed manner (assuming your setup doesn’t run into the potential clearance problems discussed earlier). There are a couple of things missing, though, that deserve mention:

• Removable motherboard tray
• Quick disconnect plug for front panel headers (power, HDD lights, et cetera)
• Intake air filtration
• Lightweight construction (this thing is HEAAAAA-VY!)
• Extra adapters for 3.5 inch drives
• Extra card stabilizer assemblies

So, if you are looking for a nice server or workstation case, and like the idea of easily hot swapping drives, and running cucumber cool with the awesome CPU ducting, this case would be a great choice (albeit a little costly. . .$149 at my favorite online retailer, with no PSU included).

However, you would be wise to buy from a local shop on this one, and hold onto the receipt. . .although slight, there is a very real possibility you will encounter a deal-breaking problem during installation.
