Oblivion was released
a while ago and features one of the best looking
game worlds ever seen on the PC. The level of
detail available mixed with the exceptional
use of HDR lighting is really the type of experience
that redefines what you expect from your games.

Based on our first two tests
we were expecting to see a similar set of performance
figures when running the cards through Oblivions
ultra demanding environments. However this isn't
the case and the 7950GT 512mb flourishes in
this area. At 1600x1200 the 7950GT is just ahead
of the X1900XT on average though it does fall
behind on minimum fps. Interestingly when we
up the resolution we see the two cards performing
almost exactly the same.
