Zotac 8800 GTS 512Mb
The Zotac box really stands out due to the bright orange colouring. There are however other reasons to look at the packaging as it has a useful list of specifications on the front that go beyond what many other manufacturers provide. Inside there is a bundle which is almost identical to the one provided by Asus. The only difference being the branding on the manual and CD, and the lack of a CD wallet which is not necessarily a bad thing.
Zotac use the reference design cooler and PCB and like other card makers they attach a branded sticker to the heatsink cover. Underneath the cooler is a product which runs at the reference design specifications and has all of the features we would expect, such as PCI-Express 2.0 and PureVideo 2 support. For anyone planning a post Christmas purchase Zotac will also be releasing a factory overclocked edition which we will cover at a later date so remember to check back for that review before buying.
