Quake 4
The latest installment of the Quake franchise is
based on the Doom3 engine, and it is our opinion
that it’s the game Doom 3 should have been
– lots of fun, many great moments and naturally
it was considered one of the best games of 2005.
In order to measure its performance we resorted
to Fraps and we benchmarked a sequence in the final
stage of the game where there's lots going on on-screen.
It's a very good worse-case scenario which really
taxes the GPU. The run was repeated three times
to ensure accuracy of the results. All in-game Image
Quality settings were set to maximum. (High Quality,
not Ultra):
