Abit IP35 Pro Off Limit Bios
Our prior Abit reviews have shown us that they have the design of their Award bios perfected, the IP35 Pro does nothing to contradict this. The BIOS follows the standard layout with the addition of profile save options at the base of the main menu. One of the more notable additions is the boot order menu which now lists drives by name, e.g. BenQ DVD DD rather than “CD-ROM” . It is a small change however makes setup of the system a little easier. Abit also include their extensive monitoring section in the IP35’s bios. Other manufacturers are content with the major voltage, temperature and fan options, however Abit give every imaginable aspect of the product a reading over various pages and allow full configuration of warning settings. All of these monitors would not be much use if the board wasn’t highly tweakable and happily the overclocking portion of the bios does not disappoint. The standard options are here and we find that multipliers are available up to 31x, CPU voltage can be raised to 1.9v, memory to 3.0v and finally, FSB settings of up to 600 are available.
