Inspire T5900
The first time I used some creative speakers it was a
small 2.1 speaker set that I bought for my first home
built system, despite only being £30 the speakers
were excellent quality with the sub being a highlight
of the bundle. It really could shake the room. So the
thought of the T5900 with its larger sub was something
I was looking forward to.
The speaker bundle comes well packed
with the Sub encased in polystyrene and the speakers in
a smaller cardboard box. Removing the sub (22Watt model)
first and most noticeable is the large speaker grill on
the side of the unit which covers the low frequency driver:

Turning to the front of the sub the only
noticeable feature is the woofer hole/pass port.

The rear of the sub is however where
the units connectivity becomes clear…

From top to bottom you can see the Audio
inputs (Front, Rear and Centre/Sub). The Aux in and volume
control, Centre output and front/rear left and right.
Each connector feels sturdy when inserting or removing
the relevant plugs which provides peace of mind.
The Aux/Volume connectors feed out to
the volume control which also features a 3.5mm input for
a device of your choice, this is a very useful feature
which we hadn’t seen before on a speaker system…
The other 5 speakers bundled with the above sub are as
we mentioned stored in a separate box, they fit snugly
into the box and other than the rear speakers all cables
are pre attached which saves some time over competitors
solutions where all cables need to be manually connected.

The T5900 front rear and centre speakers
feel incredibly sturdy and weighty considering their size,
by default you have the cloth speaker grill on however
it can also be removed if you prefer. The rear and front
speakers are 8watt, the centre speaker is 20watt.

Under the grill you can see the 2.5inch
midrange drivers and the 1” cone type tweeter.

Also included is an accessory pack with
the rear speaker cable, speaker stands and manuals, everything
you need to fully utilise your new 5.1 speaker system.
