The Ultra 600W power supply throughout testing performed admirably well, especially considering if you look at the power sucking test rig I threw at it on the second page of this review, I only noticed very minor dips in the 12v rail during certain sections of stress testing with the overclocked extreme edition behemoth rig. Noise levels are in the low to medium levels, its not silent but its very quiet. I measured an average of between 25-28db with the dual glowing LED 80mm fans performing very well across the board. Ultra have put together a very well balanced supply which performs as good as it looks.

Downsides? well Its a little bit of a shame this 600w model doesn't use the modular setup in the same vein as the X-Connect line but its only a minor niggle as most of us will be used to the traditional design anyway. They could also maybe include a few more molex connectors on a supply this size to ensure total future proofing, but molex doublers are easy to come by and Ultra make up for this by including sata power connectors.

Ultra have really hit the mark with this supply and with a recommended retail price in the $120 region I really cant recommend it enough, its worth every cent.
