Conclusion:

I have to admit that I wasn’t aware of Ultra’s products before receiving this PSU for review, my initial reading of their website made me think that this PSU seemed too good to be true, especially for the price. Having used it for a week now I’ve been totally impressed by it. The moment I opened the box I was presented with a stunning look, the pictures in this article don’t really do it justice, and matched with a sliver case (Such as the Wavemaster used in this review) you end up with a very impressive looking and tidy rig. The UV capabilities are also a great feature. Setting up the UV Tubes was no problem at all, only a few screws and plugs were required and you instantly have a case look that anyone would be proud to own. Its all very well saying that the PSU looks great however if it doesn’t deliver in performance terms then it’s as good as useless. This isn’t a concern with the Ultra Xconnect however as it delivers first class performance across the board matching, and even exceeding other big name branded PSU’s.

Ultra also informed us that their PSU's will also feature SATA connectors, an extra floppy, extra connectors for VGA cards and a 24pin plug for LGA motherboards in the near future. For registered customers the SATA connector will be sent out free of charge! Great customer service.

A great PSU, highly recommended.
