Half Life 2: Episode 1

Half Life 2 Episode 1 while rather short was a great expansion to the original first person shooter game of the year. The engine while not quite as impressive as F.E.A.R. or Doom3's is still capable of delivering an immersive and enjoyable gaming experience. Obviously to test these boards, we will be pushing all the eye candy to the limits.

Due to prior experience I already knew both of these systems would be overkill for this title even with everything loaded to the gills, however it is a good indication that there certainly is some futureproofing from either solution for future Valve titles.
