Installation:
The Quantum comes with all the screws and drive rails
needed; they even included an extra battery for the front
Control Center ... another nice addition.
The Quantum is a “tool free” case, which
means that you won’t need to screw your hard drives
and cd/dvd roms in place. Below you can see how the hard
disk is mounted, just press the rails into the screw holes
into your hard drive. Finally slide it in to the hard
drive cage.

The same goes for the DVD burner…
Installing the motherboard was a breeze, it came with
four pre mounted “push on” standoffs. But
I removed those and used the supplied brass standoffs
instead. This case was a perfect match with the motherboard,
on numerous occasions with other cases I have had to struggle
to get the holes on the motherboard to line-up. But with
this case they where very accurately engineered. Unfortunately
when I started to hook up the fans I noticed the lack
sleeved fans, the cables ended up in a bit of a mess.
Take a look at the picture below to see what I mean. I
temporarily fixed some of the fan cables with a long twist
tie, you can also see this in the followup pictures below.

Next I mounted the graphic card and it
is also a tool free mounting solution.
Just pull a lever to the side and then
up and mount the graphic card. A nasty little quirk; when
securing the card it wouldn’t stay very firm in
the slot. It was possible to wiggle the card a little
when mounted. I suggest being extra careful when moving
the case around so the card won’t come loose and
perhaps even get damaged.
