Conclusion:
Retailing
for around $155USD (at time of press), Aspire’s
X-Navigator is a terrific chassis. The large window, changeable
faceplates, and UV LED fans are certainly impressive features
that will appeal to anyone looking for a quality case with
tremendous aesthetic versatility. Diehard gamers and overclocking
enthusiasts alike will certainly be able to go far with
the X-Navigator, its temperature display and fan controller
are just icing on the cake. The three removable 3.5’’
drive bays and 5.25’’ drive bay rail system
are standard but work very well, and what can I say about
the included power supply other than “wow”?
I must admit there were few things I did not
like about the X-Navigator, and although there are few,
my biggest gripe with it is the paint finish. I found it
very rough, and although intentional, I did not like it.
Not just because of attractiveness but because of cleaning
hassles. If you have ever cleaned a case with a spray paint
job before, and used a paper towel, you know how this rips
them apart and creates a mess. Apart from that, there is
the X-Navigator’s basic internal design and aluminum
construction, which although not a major flaw, was lacking
in innovation.

The drawbacks to the Aspire
X-Navigator are few and far between and its aesthetics and
features vastly outweigh them. As such, the X-Navigator
gets the Driver Heaven Heavenly Hardware Gold Award.
