coolzone. Your complaint has no ground. From what I have read out of all the winners, there is only one humourous one which im sure has been included for a chuckle. You have a sense of humour? It isn't even doing well on the vote.

The two leaders right now are excellent monsters, and I voted for swimtech.

Why? because hs is one of the nicest guys on the forum and he put some thought into his entry, not only that but he isnt on a bunch of other sites bitching about Driver Heaven or claiming foul play like the sore losers some of you guys are.

why does this always happen. Zardon you need to ban these people, it ruins the atmosphere. They don't even care about DH, they only post here to win free sH*t.

This is the joys of the internet, if you dont like a site you can find another you do like. I enter all the competitions and I never win. But I act like an adult and dont run around tech forums with my tail between my leg like a kid claiming some idiotic conspiracy theory.

This really makes me mad.

Well once I work out exactly the point you are making ill explain it. You are claiming the winners aren't "serious" enough.

Out of all the winners, only winnebago has a non serious entry and it was included as a little bit of fun as one of the game coders who make the game thought it was funny and would give people a bit of a laugh.

All the other entrants are serious, however if you feel they aren't serious enough, then I don't really know what to say, except to politely ask you to stop posting in here or I will have to remove you. I don't mind people stating a point, I mean on other sites most of you would have been banned already - making a point is fine, but insinuating some kind of foul play is not. The competition rule page is really well laid out and explains we don't want to see whinging.

Anyway, this is quickly evolving into something rather unpleasant in here with our regulars getting annoyed with some people who just come here for competitions and I can understand that.

So from this point on, if I see any more complaining the members will get an immediate ban. I don't see any other way to get the debate back to the worthy winners. Some of these entries are great !

Good to see that the whiner population has thinned out. They have such good hanky panky detection methods I'm surprised any one would even try to pull the wool over the staffs eyes. They'll surely be caught when they do.

Yes im aware of all the threads created by a few people in the poll and im also aware of where all the votes are coming from too. the poll is accurate now, and will be checked before closing again. cheaters will not win this video card.

Probably the best way to do it. There will always be people complaining about this and that and for who knows what reason. I, for one, don't care. I'm am just glad that my creativity actually made it to the bottom of the top list. lol.

Anyways, there are some pretty original entries and that everyone should have the same chance as winning. The fact that people are cheating, which is absolutely ridiculous, is not acceptable at all. It is a pet peeve of mine, and I have absolutely no respect for those kind of people.

I seriously wouldn't worry about it. I knew this might happen when the poll started however I felt it was a nice idea to let our public pick it. We know all the tricks, been doing this too long. The result at the end of this will be the genuine winner.

You should be proud of the way you have handled this vote, as should the two guys leading it.

I guess i deserve to know the reason(s) for me being banned from the competition

I have voted only once and the only "crime" i am guilty of is asking other people to vote for me
I haven't used multiple I.P's or proxies

So i request the reasons

As far as i can see,i was getting too many votes from "guests" and u first "rebalanced" it(basically ripped off 70 votes from next to my name and redistributed it among the others)
Now i'm banned

If the reason for me being banned is "asking other people to vote for me" then i have no complaints/arguments

If not i want the reason(s),its only fair IMO

this is not fair to the other people on the list especially the 4 or 5 who have only had votes from Driver Heaven readers, which is the whole point in the first place.

Actually you aren't banned from DH, you are only banned from this competition for the reasons ive explained. I posted a message a day ago explaining to everyone that this was not tolerated and you or your family totally ignored it, and another 60 votes appeared overnight, again from the same external places. Do you think it is fair that the other entrants who have had votes from Driver Heaven members and people in our community should lose out on the chance to win this because you, or your sister has decided to get people from game forums to vote for you? Incidentally the 70 votes you originally lost were not redistributed, they were removed, a warning was given and you were given another chance.

Well im glad you have no complaints, but right now you are almost on a total site ban so I suggest that you DON'T complain.

It's a shame these competitions get abused the way they are. I don't mind there are people signing up to participate in a competition, the potential regular visitors will go up and that only benefits the driverheaven community. But there are alot of people out the who think they are getting ripped off when they aren't winning or people who think it's neccesary to ask whole other forums to vote for you (not naming anyone).

Wouldn't it have been a good idea to make voting only possible to registered users? I doubt many people would go through that hassle only to place a vote.

That's very true. There are a lot of people who come to various forums to read posts, but not make very many themselves. I have a very hard time keeping up with (let me count my bookmarked forums) 12 different forums. That's right twelve. But, I do try to contribute when ever I can.
