Hello from CERN! I have some news:
I built a prototype computer case with active cooling using components from an air conditioner unit. This way I could greatly overclock my machine and improve performance of my CUDA program. What I am missing now is a powerful power supply to support the refrigeration engine. I did a temporary improvisation but I don't know how much it will hold.

this will power my new videocard, a Gainward 4850 Golden Sample, which I still cannot use because of my crappy 'generic' 500w power supply not giving it enough power. this PSU will let me play some of the best games of the past that I haven't played yet (because I'm just using an onboard videocard for quite a while now) and will also help me in crunch some FPS in current and upcoming games.

yes this will be an overkill on my current setup, but it will not be as soon as my friend hands me his 4870x2 upon his departure abroad. he got 2 of it and he's taking one with him, i'll still be paying for it though (in gives)

We have a lot of work here and often I must stay at office over night and sleep under the desk. I bought a lot of gadgets powered by USB:
- USB electric blanket
- USB coffee warmer
- USB night lamp
- USB mosquito killer UV lamp
- USB cellular phone charger
- USB speakers
- USB humidifier
- USB thermometer
- USB micro fridge
- USB TV tuner
- USB wireless N adapter
There are a lot of experts here in theoretical physics and each one has a very small office including me. These gadgets help me save space and make me productive.
It's obvious that I need a powerful supply for all this. Please I need it!

Is it worth destroying the planet for the love of playing games? Are you aware that soon the game of life will be played on a bleak map?
Efficient usage should be more important and if power is required should be used for a lucrative cause. After I find the Higgs boson with my CUDA algorithm, I promise that I'll burry the power supply under a tree.
This supply is too powerfull to get into a kid's hands. Young people should play sports outside and not sit stuck in front of a computer screen!
And NVIDIA please stop making these power hungry cards. All my hope is in AMD to fix the things!
For those who made Crysis : Are you aware of the damage you made?
Why doesn't someone makes a power supply that takes energy from young people oversized fatty belly? It would solve 2 of the greatest problems of modern man.

I need this because im dirt poor and my computer is on its last legs.

my 7950 GX2 died a few weeks ago and the rest of my computer is going the same route, my gaming addiction needs to be fueled but the price of gaming is a steep one

this is something that could help me on my way to building a new rig and being able to play ANY game again, rather than being stuck with onboard graphics and a dying computer

It might be shocking but I need this powersupply to play the most electrofying and power hungry game till date, Bioshock.

Tesla would not tell me his secret but I think I just found out, Coolermaster UCP 900W, it's all you need.
