Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
What product range/s would you like to see next from Razer?
I would love to see them entering into the case market.I'm pretty sure they can come up with some great looking cases.

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
On a second, or.. third, whatever... thought, I think Razer should, on a definately more serious note then before, make monitor power buttons.
I mean, no computer can be used without a monitor (that I am aware of.. ) and that means that.. for the millions of computers you'd have to sell one for every computer. So you'd be bankin' ![]() lol |

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
Well, a bit of a far-fetched idea, since no games (AFAIK) support such option at the moment and it would probably require one hell of a hardware, but what about small, peripheral LCD screen with buttons and switches on it, like a real LCD panel on an airplane, that can be attached to the main monitor ot sit beside it? It could be used in various games to transmit specific HUD data to the player (and provide additional button so not to overburden the keyboard), while leaving the main monitor with more clear (gaming) space.
And again, as a flight simmer, it would be awsome to have such a thing to arm weapon systems and watch my RADAR data, rather than to constantly move the viewing field on the screen. Would be great in FPS shooters, too. |

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
A 120Hz LCD monitor with IPS panel with LED backlight
and who even knows with TV tuner, like the LG Multimedia Monitors(M228WA, M2294D etc), of course with PIP feature ;P*maybe the price will be a little expensive xD

What I would like to see from razer is steering wheels and pedals, because when you play a racing game you enjoy more the game playing with a steering wheel and pedals.
And Imagine that with the Razer Mako audio system listening the engine of the cars in a race. It's exciting! |

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
Razer should start in the market of plates, you know, the kind where you put you're food on to eat. It would encourage those heavy gamers to sit at the table and take time for their breakfast/lunch/dinner instead of eating it in front of the computer or stuffing it down their throats so fast they hardly even chew. I mean, who wouldn't want to have plates, fork, spoon and knife (and maybe even pots and pans for the gamers who will find their inner chef) to match their computer in style!

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
i'll throw two suggestions into the pool. one for the constest, and one just because i want it.
first off, i'm a recent convert from PC to mac. i have the new aluminum macbook with the backlit keyboard, and it's made me realize how useful a backlit keyboard is. i would really like it if the everglide DKTBoard started shipping in a mac version....you know, replace the windows key with the command key. just my two cents. as for a contest-worthy suggestion, since razer is so established in gaming, you have to figure there are more than a few console gamers who are jealous of PC gaming because of all the cool stuff we get. you also have to figure that with products like the habu floating around, the guys at razer already have good chemistry with the guys at microsoft. i love gaming on the xbox 360. a lot of people love gaming on the xbox 360, i'm sure. you have to figure that out of all the 360 fanboys and fangirls, a lot of them know about razer and how razer mice are the rolls-royces of computer gaming, and wish they could get in on the action. all you guys would need to do, in order to make it big in the console controller market, is think of something unique, something that's useful to hardcore gamers, and sell it. i mean, if nyko and mad catz can come from nowhere and make piles selling xbox controllers with hand cooling systems, razer can come to the console business after a decade of experience in PC gaming, and blow them out of the water. plus, putting the name out there in the console market would make it more recognized among gamers, which would give you more of a market for PC gamers too. you've already got world-class lazer mice.....find a way to apply that experience in 3D, and you can make motion-sensing xbox controllers, to make up for one place that microsoft forgot about when they made the 360. after playing a few games on my cousin's PS3, mainly driving games and sports games, i wished i could use my entire controller as a steering wheel in racing games on my xbox. ---- on a side note, i just found a video of a guy pulling his mako speakers right out of the box, and doing a review of them on the spot. that control module looks beautiful, and that bass response sounds incredible (this coming from a guy who has a massive harman/kardon sub at the foot of his desk, plays bass and listens to a wide variety of music). and the hidden drivers look better than my current speaker setup. |

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
I'd like to see Razer release a 'Razer Pets' Line where they could sell cute little reptiles and animals like Deathadders, Mambas, Tarantulas, and Armadillos. All the adorable little creatures could live in harmony in the Razer Pet Shops waiting for people to take them home. They could also be kitted up with free Razer Gear! Obviously they'd have to be pre-tame so they wouldn't bite us... but oh well, a bite here and there wouldn't hurt anyone.

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
Definitely a small Screen LCD monitor (7 inch) that hooks to the top/side of our LCD monitors. It can be use as a secondary screen for games (maps), CPU details (such like Logitech G15), Messenger or etc.

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
What about wireless 5.1 headsets that can act separately or receive from one source , this seems useful in homes where two or more computers in the same room they can play football match on one machine with joysticks and both players by are immersed in the game in the same time they don't disrupt others by the sound and can communicate with each others by the microphone. After that everyone returns to his rig and set the headset to receive from his audio card. Another idea is wireless gaming consoles headsets , It is very useful as there is a big part of gamers that uses wireless joysticks and large displays which in this case they want to get farther than usual , the wired headsets would be annoying in such case.

I would like to see Razer come out with many colors for their existing products. I have not bought a product because of it's color before. Or come out with mice or audio products that change all colors.

I would like to see Razer come out with liquid cooling products. I think they should come out with "do it yourself" kits and all-in-one solutions with an arrangement of florescent liquid colors and clear tubing. I would like to see a rear fan and radiator all-in-one liquid cooling with all sorts of fan sizes, big and small.

Hmmm what about mens razers with then it rould be Razers Razers and they culd use the slogan " Razers because you dont want a itchy beard while gaming" though now that idea just sounds a lil silly.
Or they could just go into energy drinks and just sell massive cases for lan partys. |

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
THey should go and enter the video game market, either by producing excellent games (and of course audios for the game) or producing their own console -- a bit ambitious but with a kick of solid sounds mght work.
So in my opinion video game market is the next best thing for Razer even if the competitiom might be tough. All the best, K

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
I don't think there can be something entirely innovative to do for them, and since they are oriented on peripherals, not hardware parts.
So something in line with other neat little stuff, I would like to see some products which could keep our mices and keyboards clean, but also to keep that cool Razer look. Some nice see through covers for keyboards when not in use, and still with possible well known Razer sign on it, which could light up, when you turn the computer on. Other things like PSU's, cases, and many other things could be welcome, but most gaming enthusiasts already have their loyal and established brand like Antec, Coolermaster, Corsair who they like and it would be hard to make a breakthrought in that area. But then again, you never know. |

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
So I just won a 3GM contest. As the law of luck goes, I will not be winning this one! Oh well, I have another idea. I'd like a hub for a graphics port that takes a standard DVI connector as input, and has outputs of RCA(6 plug), S-Video, HDMI, VGA, and includes optical audio outputs as well as analogue.

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
There is actually one thing that no one produces and I would really love to buy.
A head microphone —not a "headset", just the mic. A light and sleek product, possibly wireless, meant to be easily hung to the ear. Because if I had a high quality speakers set, eg Razer Mako, I surely would not use headphones to play sound-immersive games such as L4D or TF2, and no cheap consumer-level desktop microphone would perform flawlessly in such a sound-flooded environment! |

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
I would like to see some price drops by Razer on these speakers. Lets face it you can get a decent 5.1 home theater system for that much, at least here in Canada.
Price cuts along with new products like a gaming monitor and I don't mean a run of the mill kind of monitor I mean something innovative like a high refresh rate. Or under 1ms response time. LED back light monitors are also welcome rather than the usual CCFL ones. Oh and if you can get the back light bleeding to zero along with an even back light with no clouding that would be a hit for sure. |

But think about it, you have 300W RMS to 3 speakers. That's pretty much a downsized Logitech Z5500 with much better quality. I think with these speakers, you get what you pay for.

Re: Win a set of Razer Mako Speakers on DH!
Hm. Maybe Razer should make a decent gamepad. But other than this i don't think they really have to enter other segments.
How they say, jack of all trades, master of none? Or something like that. Stick with what you do the best and improve that to perfection. Razer mice are already very popular among enthusiasts so don't dissapoint them :P |

A smart Network Card from Razer!
I would like Razer to expand their gaming hardware with a Network card! A network card with smart optimization, such as max bandwidth for downloading/surfing or less latency and special packet management for gaming!
It can be for both wired and wireless networks, which is ideal for lan parties ![]() A card designed with the style of Razer
