It would have been nice of the organizers to tell us before the contest that it's not about "why we want the asus", having been instead about who has contributed/posted the most to the forum.

As long as the 9600 has a good retirement package i see no reason to make it work any longer. Keep it though incase you need it to cover for you in an emergency.

i do not want this card for myself, i already have one, which just happens to be asus, as well as the mobo, however in a friend of mine's pc, he has an 8500gt, and i rly don't want that to be his card when Cod MW2 comes out, cause that would be lame. i'm not gonna kissass, and stuff like that, i would just like to sincerely request that asus feels for my friend, who is in deep need of this card. Oh and btw for those who rly don't believe me, his names nick shay, and the reason why he's not doing this himself is because his interweb is lame. plz asus feel for my friend, if u rly think im lying id def be willing to make a binding contract saying that im liable for sueing if i don't present this to my friend. Oh and btw btw, the card i have (ENGTX260) overclocks like HELL, i got mine running crysis at legit 50 fps, on enthusiast. and the mobo let me oc my proc to 3.7 (M4N82 D. w/ AMD Phenom2 x4 955).

Why? Try playing games on an intel GMA 4500 that's why. That and they always make the hottest looking hardware around. Either that or I'll go & buy a Gigabyte ATi card.
