Win an Asus 260GTX Matrix @ DH !

I think they should give me an ASUS 260GTX Matrix because ... I can't think of anything. There isn't anything wrong with my current situation and I've already got a decent card, (8500GT with 512mb DDR2) It would be a nice upgrade and I thought "what the hell?" and decided to "toss my hat in" to this ring of entries.

i have had a few problems occur in a couple days.... my 2nd monitor blew up and since the addition of my Quad Core my PSU hasnt been completely stable....

while i hardly care for the monitor, my system restarts itself every once in a while... mandating that i spend my money that i saved for a new GPU on a new power supply instead....

meaning that ill have to buy the PSU before anything and wait a looooong time before i can buy a GPU and stop lagging on Crysis Wars on minimum....

if Asus would give me the card, i can finally enjoy myself running Crysis on high and have the peace of mind of a new PSU....

ASUS/Driver Heaven should give me this card because:

I'm pretty anal about PC noise - so much so that I'm currently running 2 MSI RX2600XT's in Crossfire (yes, 2600's!!!) simply because this was the most 'powerful' solution available to me at the time that would afford me some peace and quiet while gaming (fanless). I probably don't need to explain how I've been left wanting for more power ever since...

The 260GTX Matrix looks as though it might actually be the one to change my mind about fan-cooled cards.

I'm considering getting a Sapphire 4890 Atomic for similar reasons but, if this ASUS card can actually provide up to a 21% increase in speed over a stock gtx260, then would I be right in thinking that this would pretty much wipe the floor with the afore mentioned offering (or, at least, put up a pretty good fight)?

I'm eager to find out.

Why do you feel Asus should give you this card?

Well I think Asus and Driverheaven.net should give me this card is because I always wanted to get myself some GPU that would be better than something "mid-ranged". In fact Asus 260GTX would decrease my computer's power usage and at the same time it would be really, really BIG boost from my old GeForce 9600GT. It would allow me to play games on even higher details and enjoy them as well as it would affect my comfort while doing any sorts of work.

My god, where is you spirit of laughter?! everybody is SO serious! it's just a card! i have many of cards! I'm even good with cards! and I've watched the matrix many times, even WHILE playing cards! HA!

Besides, I think I should get this card because in matters of weight and aerodynamics, it can fly better than my current AGP cards when I play freesbie! I might even win the world freesbie championship next year with this GTX card! I mean, GTX260 = Gravity Throwable Extreme 260, isn't it?

Oh, and I should also get this card so I can completly tear it to bits and see how it works! :P

Why should I be awarded this beautiful card with an amazing chip?
Well, let's just say it's not for ME.
My brothers birthday is actually on September 7th, and he is very into the website designing. He designs websites for friends, and he wants to make it his career, but with his current computer, it keeps him chugging.
He runs a pretty low end Core2Duo with integrated graphics.. so his CPU is highly bottlenecked.
If he gets this card, with a minor upgrade in PSU, he can have the computer he needs and wants for his job. He won't be rendering pages at low fps and having a sluggish computer. He's never experienced a computer with a good GPU, and if he could do that he would have the power to succeed.

Hey I am bernard!

Well I really want this card because I am a secondary school student in singapore and all my friends' computers are more advanced than mine! My computer, can you believe it, is a measly and horribly wrecked Pentium 3. The graphics card is from NVIDIA, named "Riva" (strange name), but it sure suck.

Now presently, all my school friends could play Crysis: Warhead on their computers and I just could not, all because MY FATHER COULD NOT SPARE ME THE MONEY TO UPGRADE MY COMPUTER. All on HIGH quality settings and god, look at the GRAPHICS of Crysis!!!

Now, if I win this graphics card, which is so state-of-the-art and expensive, my father might be persuaded to upgrade my computer to a Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, now that he knows the graphics card is well taken care of by ASUS. I can then persuade him to spend more on the motherboard, processor and monitor. With an Upgraded Hybrid cooler and extra intelligence of course, thanks to ASUS!

I can then have the fortune of playing Crysis everyday then! Thanks to ASUS!

Once, I was only playing budget games like Patrician 3 and tictactoe because my NVIDIA Riva card could not handle the stress of graphically intensive games. However, if I win, I can even play Call of Duty: World at War, the game I dream about buying everyday!

have one or more Asus components in my pc. Combined with the extra
features from Asus /they always implement some - my
V8200Ti500 had an integrated tuner and VR glasses/
The old times were good,but now The Force Unleashed will
demand more -> GTx260 by Asus is the best solution

Do you Asus? Well I do. So does my mainboard, my monitor, my dvd unit and even my pda phone. And of course my old Asus 6600GT silent videocard that is getting a bit overwhelmed with all those new videogames. So i thought a new asus card will fit perfectly in there while the old one should retire after a brave and glorious life to a secondary system where all old components go rest and play checkers.

So does my mainboard, my monitor, my dvd unit and even my pda phone. And of course my old Asus 6600GT silent videocard that is getting a bit overwhelmed with all those new videogames. So i thought a new asus card will fit perfectly in there while the old one should retire after a brave and glorious life to a secondary system where all old components go rest and play checkers.
