Re: Win a Silverstone Raven RV02 and 600W PSU!

The Air Flow in the Raven RV02 chassis is upwards, bottom to the top because of two very important reasons. First, three bottom 180mm rear (bottom) fans, which is sucking air into the case and one 120mm fan pushing that hot air out of the case. The second reason is the motherboard is turned into 90 degrees which makes the hot air raise, like video cards which well be colder now because of this motherboard is twisted to a 90 degree.

Thank you for reading my post.

Re: Win a Silverstone Raven RV02 and 600W PSU!

The hot air inside rises, and Raven's powerful yet quiet fans expel it through the top side. Otherwise the whole chassis might just fly off...

Air flows from bottom to top. Thats why all hardwares hop.

"Chilling the machine in single ping, Thats y silverstone is the king.
Silverstone is master of the ring, Thats y we all sing silverstone is the king.
3 fans r a major thing, Thats y heat goes in the sink
Thats y we all sing , silverstone is the king.
Don't run behing other fooling, Silverstone is only cooling.
Best choice chassis on googling, Thats y everyone so drooling.
In the haste to over win, We all make it the super king.

Re: Win a Silverstone Raven RV02 and 600W PSU!

The cool air flows in at the bottom and the hot air (heated by the cpu, gpu, ...) flows out on the top. This is done by fans on the bottom and on top and maybe helped by the gpu coolers which blow out hot air too on the top.

In through the bottom and out through the top.

Call me crazy but wouldn't it be easier if entrants were limited to one quality entry instead of hundreds of repetitive one liners.

Re: Win a Silverstone Raven RV02 and 600W PSU!

in addition of the regular bottom-up airflow, there is another airflow specific to the PSU, the air enters then from the ventilation grill in the rear of the chassis and exits from the top. a 2 in 1 airflow

Re: Win a Silverstone Raven RV02 and 600W PSU!

Bottom mounted 180mm fans are pushing a considerable amount of cold air directly upwards. Another fan works in unison to move warm air from the front mounted hard drive bays.

well, it is apparent that this is a random drawn winner..

I personally like the competitions better where you have to make up a creative and witty entry.. But I'm not sure DH get's to choose what kind of competition they're gonna make, am I right?

Oh, the air flows vertically and up.
