The air flows the way you set it up.

Default is bottom/front intake and top/back outtake, but all of these can be rotated and adjusted, I suppose (though that doesn`t make much sense

).

Heck, if you turn the fans off, it doesn`t flow at all

The way it's meant to be:

Massive Airflow from bottom to top, by no less than three fans at the case botton, running the entire length, thankfully armed with dust filters. Positive pressure principle, high air intake and only one fan on top to blow hot air out, unless you use video cards the exhaust their hot air at the top (which you should with this case). PSU can actually take air in from the rear, exhausting it at the top, unless I'm mistaken there, as in the review it was mounted drawing air from inside the case.

It has airflow from bottom to top with the the motherboard, power supply unit and hard drive mountings rotated 90 degrees

The airflow takes the Bottom's Up approach, from bottom towards the upper regions and it puts less pressure on the fans to push air as the air is hot and we all know Hot Air rises up.
