It has vertical airflow from bottom to top by rotating the motherboard, power supply unit and hard drive mountings 90 degrees clockwise.

the airflow enters from the bottom and out through the top to allow a more effective removal of heat with minimal noise.

"upward airflow from bottom to top", Through the whole chassis, still some air will come out from chassis's back also. 3 fans! , nice design scientific airflow. but dudes y waste money in fans, instead put a Cooling system. but i won't mind that chassis, i have a closed one this one is pretty open.

The air flows from the bottom of the case and out the top the case (up), BUT some air will also be expelled to the back of the case due to the single fan on the rear of the case.

The air flow from bottom to top in a very interesting design. I was quite surprised by the motherboard location and the 3 180mm fans on the bottom. Definitely looks like a very interesting case.

I would say from bottom to top...
because i've read somewhere that: "The theory that 'heat rises' is one of the oldest known to man and it is with this principle that Silverstone have opted for a rotated motherboard mounting system with air being forced from the bottom of the case to the exhaust panels at the top."

The air flows from outside the house to the inside, after which it finds it's way near the Silverstone Raven RV02 where it is violently sucked inside near the bottom of the case. Once inside it won't have much time to stare at the amazing hardware found inside, as the air is moved upwards and by the sheer force of 3(!) big fans and blasted out of the top of the case. Once coming to a rest it finally has a chance to wonder what the heck just happened and what that amazing piece of hardware was?!

The air breezes through this case from the bottom up to the top, and during this process this cool breeze will go along all the hardware placed inside and will cool this very, very well.

Contrary to popular belief, air can fight the forces of gravity. The RV02 proves this since it flows from the bottom to the top. Heat is like witch magic, as it's been shown it prefers to raise instead of fall. Kudos to Silverstone engineers for realizing these factors and making the PB&J of case design. It's like wtf why hasn't any tried this before, it's so good.

P.S. I want one.

3 X 180MM fans take in cool air. 1 X 120 MM + any VGA coolers exhaust the air through the top of the case via the innovative 90 degree rotated motherboard mounting setup. The PSU also vents air from the rear of the case and exhausts it through the top as well...
