The number of monitors that the 5870 can support is 6.
If you add 57 and 70 you get 21.16666666666667 - 12 6s; that's a lot of 6s.
57% of 70 is 30.1, which is also the total if you multiply 5 (from 5770) by 6 (ok, it's not exact but I'm trying to work up some brownie points here).
Multiplying 6 and 7 (from 5770) together gives you 42 - 4 plus 2 is 6.
If you add the results of the multiplications (30.1,42,42,0) then divide by 6 you get 19.01666666666667, which is another lot of 6s.
If you multiply 57 and 70 then divide by 6 you get 665 - one number less than the number of the beast (ie: the 5870).

It's nothing like 21 but I'm after brownie points, not a movie script :P

and takaharu, wrong calculation dude. Because no version of 5770 will ever release 6 display support, ITs 5870 eyefinity version, which is a special version that'll support 6 displays, containing varios ports. which will work all at the same time.
