The current 5870 model can configure up to 3 monitors by using 3 of the 4 ports (2 DVI, 1 VGA, 1 HDMI, 1 Displayport).

The HD 5870 model to be released later this year can configure up to 6 monitors per card using 6 Displayport adapters.

It supports up to 6 monitors in a very sexy fashion. I am dreaming of putting together 6 monitors every night....... I can't wait! If I don't win it here, who cares.. I'm probably going to buy it when I next upgrade my computer.
