Re: Game of the Year 2010 Competition

I like the new way of the Game of the year entry is submitted to us...Very nice..

My entry is in... Even though i have only the one game out of the list..

EDIT: I have on the ps3 Red Dead redemption which is on the list, i do like but my vote sticks with my original vote.

C.O.D: Black Opps.. Gets my vote.

He's not even being sarcastic. Seriously hard choice!

Jus out of interest - are the prizes shared between multiple winners, or does one person get the lot? Because it looks in the small print that it might be the latter :P

Re: Game of the Year 2010 Competition

One person gets the entire system... CASE, CPU, MOBO, COOLER, MEMORY, GFX, 2x HD, PSU and Peripherals.

It's basically a built by HH system and I challenge any manufacturer to match us on price to performance ratio for this one

But seriously, whats the bit that makes you think it would be more than one prize?

None - by the latter I meant the last potential answer to my question that I gave - one winner getting the lot. One seriously lucky, incredibly grateful winner. Is it me? :P

Re: Game of the Year 2010 Competition

I am sure there will always be games that some will want to be included, but I doubt the list can be 1000 titles long lol.

Seriously difficult to choose even from the "limited" list. Absolutely fantastic games released this year.

I had to vote for RDR even though I only played it a few days as a rental. It made that much of an impression on me.

I hope HH is ready for the increase of traffic due to this competition.

It's already GotY time! Did the year fly by or what!
That is some serious prize, for one very lucky participant. My only hope is that it goes to some longtime member of DH/HH and not some dude that signed up just to enter the comp.

My vote went to Starcraft

I agree. It's always nice to see one of the vets win some gear even though I'm far from that by comparison. At least I'm not a flash in the pan poster.

I didn`t see Medal of Honor in that list. However, except some that i didn`t play, Black OPS was really nice, so was Medal of Honor. On the other hand i bet that AC Brotherhood and Gran Turismo 5 are really awesome...

It would be awesome, if people would actually show some class and not vote Modern Warfare 2½ as GOTY. If we keep rewarding companies like Activision to make "mainstream-ware" which Black Ops is, in five years all we get is "safe sequels".

Grumpy rant is over.

We're voting on games, not extended edition movies. Hehehe.

Just kidding. I'm glad it didn't make the cut. While I enjoyed playing (for free) there is no way I'd drop that much cash on a game that short. Yes, multi-player mode is likely why this game will be bought but that mode is not for everybody.

Second, if it isn't me , then congrats in advance to whovever it is.

Third, I voted FO:NV

Fourth, DANG this is an awesome prize! Don't think I've ever seen a site offer something as nice as this. Cudo's to HH.
