searching for a case

got just a small question after looking at those cases you all have. Im searching for a nice case myself. But i cant seem to find any who suit me. I wanna have a case with at least a front and rear fan, good power supply and not too expensive.. do you have any suggestions?

Honestly SFF is really not for the inexpensive. The cases tend to be more pricy as you get size and more engineering in them. The shuttles or asus boxes are nice but they have a price premium for the size.

I believe that you mean desktop/small cases, as real SFF machines come as barebones. You cannot pick a case without a motherboard and power supply unit at least.

Concerning small cases, a nice small case with adequate airflow is the Antec Aria.

i mean more like just a medium tower, with power supply provided. and some fans already installed.. but with the possibility for a fan in the front, in the back. maybe a transparant side with a cooler of some sort.. and what looks good... ive searched a few hours already on the net, but havent found anything or it was expensive as hell...
havent you got a case at and it fits my needs? what the name?

check the X-spider cases or something like that... they are not bad for the price and come fully loaded with fans. They are loud though. Personally i love my shuttles

I seriously love my antec sonata, it's a great case and comes with a good PSU
(although like bwx said, buy a good modular psu seperately is your best bet )

I've always heard good things about sparkle, and actually I have had good experiences with them too- there's one that is about 7 years old (250watt) powering a machine that I built for my parents.. I scavenged it from a machine they had before (very old).. and it is running an Athlon XP- bunch of HD's, 3 sticks of ram, etc.. for years and years.. Actually probably being over worked by that system..

Only thing is they are bare bones type of product, no extras at all.

Lots of room and loads of airfflow. You can see mine in the "Show your rig" thread.

and the fan in the side screen is a bit of an akward place, totally in the middle, so it isnt on the proc or the vga at all... probably blowing at the memory

It just looks cheap- like my old case I have been using for 5 years.. but I like mine because I customized it by cutting out all the fan grates, so it has high air flow, and quiet too.. and I put an extra fan in the side blowing right on the video card. Plus a lot of those cases are made out of really thin flimsy metal, the one I got is extremely heavy duty... hard to cut it even if you want to. Stick with a well known name brand..

Ah, now I understand.

The optional PSU is just fine. After that, it all depends on how much you want to spend. If you can afford it, perhaps you would like to check on a modular PSU, like the Antec HE or Enermax Liberty series.
