megafont replacement ?

I have been using megafont/sblive/win98 for a while and want to do my music n XP now. Since the XP creative drivers seemed pathetic, i installed KX. Kx looks interesting so far , but from what i hear, you can't use Megafont with it Is there another soundfont managementr utility that will work with KX ? I particularly appreciate being able to make "virtual soundfonts", by putting references to all kinds of SF's into one file (megafont makes it behave like one SF). Is there a program or a free/nonexpensive VST plugin that 's just great for sf2s ??

Hello

Thanks again to KX Team - You great, men!

Hi man

I had the same wish to go on using megafont and another was to keep on using my old version of Gigasampler
that can't deal with WDM audio Driver

So I found this solution.

I bought a second SBLive OEM without LiveDrive for 20 dollars
Installed it in my machine with APSLIVE driver 1.84 and crosstudio mixer 3.

Now I got all I need to work : VST with KX Asio Megafont and Gigasampler with APSLive.
Got it?
There are many other cool things you can do with 2 SBLive in one machine
Hope it helps
bye
