Three SBLives--Creative, APS, kX

For a brief time I had three SBLives operating simultaneously in my system. I had a Value (4670) running under its own drivers for gaming and other mundane purposes and two Platinums (4760) running under APSLive and kX drivers, repectively, for my music. The two Platinums are connected via their spdif i/os while the Value was left isolated (so my wife and son wouldn't screw up my music settings). The setup worked like a charm, too! Unfortunately, I ran into the same problem with loading large sounfonts into the kX drivers that has been reported elsewhere in this forum. Since I MUST have those large soundfonts, I consequently removed the kX drivers and went back to a two-card setup with APSLive and the NOISY Creative drivers. Just as soon as a fix is found for the large soundfont problem, however, the kX drivers will definitely be back on my system. I like them, and they are quiet. Then I will have a quite powerful music setup for the money. Both Platinum cards together with the cables to connect them cost me less than $80 (USA) total. I anxiously await developments.

BTW, with the two Platinum cards functioning together I have 64 channels of MIDI to play with. It would be a simple matter to physically connect the Live Value card to the other two to give 96 channels of soundfonts. That's more than enough for even my most grandiose projects!
