midi controll of the mixer with a phatboy controller

hi dudes ! could someone advice me how to manage controle of , for exemple, the master volume from my Phatboy midicontroller, directly in windows ??? i've obviously tried out to set the midiparameters of epilog mastervolume but nothing move !!

i have a sblive with midi-in via the game port....i have new amplifiedmonitors with no preamp so that would help me a lot cuz setting the volume with my mouse is boring and not quick enough when i have huge and sudden volume increase in reaktor for ex. THX!!!

you need to have a MIDI program open, and set output of the active track to KxControl (and "MIDI thru" enabled)

so that when you move the sliders on your phatboy, the midi program takes the signals, and routes them to kxControl (the kx automation)

i will try to find out a mini MDi utility (one must be given wit' the phatboy), cuz i won't launch SX at the start up of windows for a background task he heh e

i know what you mean. maybe a simple on/off button could be added to the automation page, to enable/disable monitoring/routing of midi-in signals to the kx automation??? -so that a midi program isn't required
