Sysex data and KX- HELP!! - someone!anyone!!

Hello.

I was running Soundblaster Live! Platinum with cubase 5.0 on Windows 98

Now I have upgraded to XP, Cubase SX and the latest KX drivers (just installed last week)

So far, so good but I have been encountering Sysex 'playback' problems.

Sysex data will record OK, but when replaying the data, instead of sending the data back to my synth (ensoniq sq1) it makes it crash.

I reinstalled my old copy of Cubase VST 5.0 but my sysex messages (created on 5.0 and used succesfully in the past) still won't work. Could it be the KX drivers? Or is it Cubase SX? Or windows XP?

Is anyone using KX drivers succesfully with Sysex? Or with Cubase SX?

Has anybody any ideas/suggestions please as this has buggered my entire set-up!

I've had the same problem as well, I solved it temporarily by connecting
the synth to my good old Soundblaster 16 instead.

Hope the Kx-team
will fix this problem soon.

ah... so its ok with SBlaster... reinstalled my old setup and off i go. great.

However, I did record some Sysex Dumps while using the KX driver - these won't work. Why not? are they corrupted? Can i count this data as irretrievably lost?
