Soundfont Id preset
hi,
Problem (not critical) : In Kx3531, if I load 2 sf2 files in kx bank=0 : - brass.sf2 containing bank=0[preset=0(trumpet),preset=2(trombone)], and then - strings.sf2 containing bank=0[preset=2(cello), preset=5(viola)] I only see in cubase : preset=0(trumpet), preset=2(cello), preset=5(viola) -> no trombone, erased by cello (same preset id) Suggestion, when loading Sf2 files : - a warning message "bank=0, preset=2(trombone) already loaded, replace by (cello) (Y/N) ?" or better : - the ability to choose the target preset in Kx (like we already manage the Kx bank id) anyway, thks for your great work ! |

kx mixer uses 'soundfont id's, but cubase uses 'midi bank numbers' in order to distinguish between different soundfonts
there's no workaround at the moment... /Eugene |
