Midi input issues
Hey guys....
I picked up an old ENSONIQ EPS, mainly to use a as a MIDI controller for my VSTi's, now I find I have issues with my MIDI in. Signals are scrambled... I cannot get proper playback at all. I fired up MIDIOX and I'm getting all kinds of strange sends... while playing various notes on the keyboard, it's recieveing CC's PC's and Pitch bends etc... Thinking maybe it was the keyboard, I plugged in my old Casio (no velocity or after touch, or pitch bend/mod wheels) same proble, recieving cc's and pitch bends etc by playing notes... Anyone run across this before? Im thinking of getting a USB interface to try.

OK... figured this out just after I posted.......
Turns out I think the UART on that card is fried.... As I'm running 2 cards..... switch my cable to the other gameport and all is fine. Now I can fully explore some of the multi-layer sounds I have in full
