Duplicated Midi Input with KX Drivers
Hello,
I have a problem with my Soundblaster Live Platinum card and KX drivers that I can't find archived elsewhere. After loading the KX audio drivers I had low latency. Brilliant !! But any software triggered by a midi keyboard Cubase,BFD etc had a phased interference sound to them. After doing all the obvious checking with different keyboards and leads, even though I knew all was fine prior to loading the KX drivers. Eventually I discovered that I was getting a duplicated midi signal. I could see this clearly in Cubase. If I looked at the notes in the midi edit I could move a note and find another one underneath it. I then scoured the net for solutions, but found nothing and so I was forced to post this message. My apologies if I am asking a dumb question. |

Re: Duplicated Midi Input with KX Drivers
Hello,
After scouring this excellent forum I found the solution. And if anybody else has the same problem with different pieces of kit the answer is that - Somewhere in the set up of your music software the main input must be set to 'KX Uart' and NOT to 'KX Control'. Thanks to this site again ! |
