Me, too!

Hi, I've got the same problem. I'm using a SBLive Value on WinXP Pro, and I experience the double MIDI input problem with kX 3532 and 3533b, but not with previous versions.
I tried using the following programs: Cubasis 4.0, Cubase SX 1.02 demo, Sonar 2.2 demo, n-Track demo. The problem happens with all of them, except n-Track, who knows why.

I'm discussing about this with the kX programmer in a thread in the Bug Reports forum, see http://www.hardwareheaven.com/showthre...threadid=18498 and post your experience and hardware/software details in that forum, so that we might find the reason for this.

Thanks and see you in the Bug Reports forum.

HI, AGAIN....

I fixed this problem, I installed Logic Control and assign for this Kxcontrol (midi in/midi out) in setup LC.
and now not have double note... but , I must play whith keyboard on chanel 2-15, chanel 1 is reserved for logic control.... or you try to off 'midi in/midi out' by 'sysedit' in win.ini [logic] and set in midi port '0'. you leave only one midi in and midi out..... before you backup this win.ini.....

[Logic]

I installed Logic Control
Sorry, but what is "Logic Control"? What does it do, exactly?
As you can see from my message, I don't use Logic. I usually use Cubasis, and tried the demos of the other mentioned apps just because of this problem.

So, obviously, I do not have a [logic] section in win.ini. Anyway I have a similar one, named [midi studio 7], see below, who know where does it come from... maybe from the Magix Music Studio demo I installed months ago?
I can try removing it, but anyway, the interesting fact is that I do NOT have the problem with kX prior to 3532, without doing anything different.

Thanks.

Indeed, I now tried totally removing that [midi studio 7] section from my win.ini and nothing changed, I still experience the same problem.

Hi, this problem is on a couple of different posts - and there have been a couple of different ways of sorting it, BUT, for those using Logic, the way I have sorted it, and I think is the correct way, is to go into the Environment ... and disconnect the cable that goes from SUM, and just connect a cable from KX UART.

If you don't know about Environment thingies, here goes ....

go to Windows menu, then Open Environment, then click on the text next to the white arrow on the menu on the left hand side, select Clicks and Ports - remove the cable from SUM by dragging it back into the Physical Input box, then drag a cable from UART to the keyboard if you have one etc

I'm sure that's the correct way

Logic is a bugger isn't it? But I suppose it does let you do everything in the end , when you find out through many hours or trial and error .......
