SoundFont crackling

When I load any soundfont I have (just the Creative ones), the MIDI sound starts crackling and after that, any other sound I play (MP3, Wav...) also starts crackling. No matter what I do, only restarting my PC, I can put everything back on place, but if I play MIDI again, the crackling starts too...
The only way to get MIDI playback without any problem here is to use the software synth from Microsoft... but I want to use soundfonts, how can I solve this problem? Has anybody having a problem like this?

Thanks in advance

are you using CPUIdle or similar software?
if yes, re-read our FAQ concerning 'AMD processor and chipset optimization flags' etc..

Hi Dan. If you have an AMD, then your problem is common. You can find usefull information on the forums.
I found that when I had some devices plugged on the usb ports, the noises were terrible. But when I unplugged them , the noises are gone.

Tell me if you can isolate your problems conditions.

Thanks a lot, I use Vcool and when I disable it, the crackling disappears, thanks Eugene!
Licho, I will try unplugging my USB mouse too, to see if it solves my problem too, thanks!
I also have found another solution, a little strange, but it's a solution: if I open a program called Aldo's Pianito while I'm listening MP3 or MIDI, the crackling also disappears hheehe
Sorry for my english and thanks a lot!!
