Recording Stereo Mix in 3534

After a crash I had to reinstall all software and downloaded KX 3534.
Before I had 3529 (I think)

The thing is; when I used to record my midi tracks to audio, all I had to do was to set AC97 source to Stereo Mix and press the record button. With the new driver, nothing happens! I can hear the midi track, but I can't record it! Why is that?

And that was incorrect method...

One of correct methods is to go to "Recording" page unmute and adjust MIDI/SFSynth (i'm not sure how that is labeled exactly) and mute anything else except Master and FXs...

p.s.
(for asio recording it should be different setup - intil someone says: "This setup is not working for my Cubase!" ;)
