Soundfont playback gets cut-off

I find that the playback gets cut off when many instruments, or one instrument with many notes, played at the same time. I feel it sucks when listening to piano music, since with the padal it is very easy to have scores of notes played simultaneously.

I am now using 3536 driver, SB Live! 5.1, on a Windows 2003, Duron 700MHz machine.
Please, improve the MIDI playback. SBLive Liveware handles this a little better, less notes get cut off.

Which piano font are you using? Maybe if some of us had the same font we could try to reproduce the problem.

I have many stereo sampled piano Sound Font files. Most of them will get cut off when playing one of my MIDI file.

Here's one that most of us can download.

I can also provide my MIDI file and the screenshot of Mixer - Analyzer when cut off occurs.....but how to post attachments???

this can really happen under certain situations
we will try to improve soundfont performance in the future

I'll be sure to check in to know when you do. Meanwhile I'll have to go back to LiveWare since playing complicated MIDI patterns through that soundfont is a very essiental part of my music creation.

Even though i am a web developer, i like composing music when i have time. So please get this fixed.... i have been not able to write music for a long time!
