Hi Folks,
I have one of the lovely new Korg E-MX groovebox things, and I'm trying to figure out how to record music in Cubase SX on my PC then save it to the MX. My first goal is to set up the patch info on Cubase SX. Note, of course I'm using the KX drivers in this setup. I've followed the Cubase manual instructions on how to do this, but no dice. Transmitting normal patterns from the Korg and recording to Cubase works fine, as does playback. I've also tried unchecking all midi filter tix boxes in preferences. However, when transmitting the SysEx data (I can see the Korg display "Transmitting"), then clicking List Editor in Cubase, absolutely no information has been received. I need to cover all bases here to find out what's wrong. Does anyone know if there is something in the KX configuration I need to set? Many thanks for any advice that can be offered. Kind regds, Max |

there's a known issue with large SysEx messages -- to be fixed in the future

Hi Eugene,
no worries. Thanks for letting me know. Any idea of a rough timeframe? Cheers, Max |
