You can use the Soundfonts on your creative CD, and download a whole host of fonts. Just try searching for "free soundfonts" in a search engine.

One thing to note is that you will have to reload your font each time you start your computer. kX doesn't remember which font you have loaded.

Hi Shifty!

KX will remember all your settings after startup if you save all settings: right click kx-tray -> Settings -> Save Settings / check all the options on (DSP / ASIO / SF etc.) and save the file anywhere on your HD. Next startup will reload all your settings you´ve made before!

Greetings !

not exactly
kX should remember the settings regardless you save/restore them in a file
kX Mixer stores present settings in the registry -- and should restore them automatically on start-up (during 'kX Project' logo is being displayed) -- provided eveything's fine with the installation
("kxmixer --startup" should be found in the 'Run' section -- you can click 'reset global settings', which re-configures kxmixer)
