no midi output after installing kx driver?

I couldn't find it documented anywhere - but you have to load a soundfont bank back into your creative synth (now called kx synth) to get it working

go into the mixer and select soundfont page

click on the "plus" sign to load in a soundfont bank (.SF2 extension)

mine were in the c:\windows\system32 folder

you may also have to set the kx synth as the default in control panel /multimedia options
