Mid 2 Wave
Hi,
I`ve looked through lot of FAQs but I don't find any answers how I can save Midi files as Wavs. Need I Cubase or something else big to use the ASIO mode and then sample it? thanks for you answers Martin thanks also the programmers for the kx project. It's really fine!

Yes, you need a program which will play the midi file and record the audio as a .wav file. Try something like N-Track Studio http://www.ntrack.com Steve |

with the Live Ware drivers, i can sample MIDI output and then encode the sample into WAV files, or OGG files with WinAMP. However, it does not work with the kxDriver.

why bother with a sequencer. The media player and sound recorder that come with windows can be used.

simply set in the record window wave at 0db/100% and then record in any sound recorder program (sndrec32 in windows can only record 60 sec at a time so that may not work well for you)
