I have simillar idea. I like kX driver and Megafont and by now it doesn't work together. But I use Megafont in 90 % "only" as a soundfont browser - if I search the right sound for my new composition. The idea is add a browse function into kX driver. The main need is (and mayby main problem) audition of browsed soundfont banks and patches in it.
Now I use a SFExplorer (see Hammersound) for this function. In Windows XP with kX drivers it works, but It is not so comfortable as in Megafont (1 click of mouse).
The second main Megafont grat function is creating new SF banks from any browsed Banks or patches. This is the second idea for kX driver.

Yep, A sound font browser is great in KXdriver.
