sf2.1 support ??? when?
HI . iam still using apslive1.84 for soundfont playback.
is kx drivers going to have full sf2.1 support,like apslive1.84.? cheers anders |

well... sf2.1 support is interesting, however, it's 2004 already.. soft synths & asio should provide you with much better features (including software-based sf2.1 support)
so, I cannot promise this feature will be implemented soon (if ever) /E |

I hear LeMury was working in soundfont related stuff... But I guess it was a VSTi...

Hi. This is what LeMury wrote he is doing (I understand it's a VST plugin for control it):
"...- Preset and bank names display correctly - preset/bank selection works - soundfont midi playback work (without virtual midi ports/apps like midi yoke and OX) - Soundfont files loading (parsing) from disk works - and finally; All soundfont settings gets saved with the project and are automaticly reloaded upon project opening. Next step is writing a VSTi GUI (editor) for convenient SF loading etc. This VSTi only works with kX drivers" Nando |
