midi sounds missing

Hi there !!
I'm new here so Hello to all!

I've got one question that may seem silly but I'm also new with KX, so please forgive me.

I've installed the KX drivers , I have a Audigy 2 sound card and I can't find where are my midi sounds !
I' use Cubase sx 1.06 and when I want to play a midi track, there is no sound : the gm sounds are all missing !!
Can anyone help me ?

1. kX does not load any SF banks by default. You have to load them manualy via kX mixer
for 'normal' GM midi playback. That is; via mediaplayer etc.

2. Cubase SX itself will always clear all SF banks when it starts a new project.
So you have to load SFs via SX's internal SF loader.

3. Since Cubase SX has a buggy SF loader, that won't help either.

You could try using kXSFi found in this section which is currently developed
to adress SX's SF problem.
