No midi sound in guitar pro

Hey!

I've got a problem, I hope you can help me
I've installed the last kx drivers, i've configured everything and it works well except that i can't hear any midi sound in guitar pro, the only synth that works is the Microsoft wavetable, the synth 1 & 2 are not working. I've read the other post and even if i load a soundfont nothing appends, what should I do ?

Are you loading full GM or GS banks for sound fonts? Or individual sounds, in other words, 'just guitar banks'?

I think i've loaded 'just guitar banks'
Do i need to load an entire bank ? I think thats the right think to do, because guitar pro simulates an entire orchestra lol
Where can i find this ?

You don't need the entire bank. Just make sure you know which bank the instruments are on and along the bottom of Guitar Pro where you assign patches and everything else you just click the instrument name and a dialoge box containing instrument patches will pop up. It'll be gm named but as long as you remember the numbers of your patches just choose one of those.. ie, 0=grand piano and if your guitar sample is on patch 0 then choose that...

You can also use vienna or any other sf editor to put your guitars in the patch order they are normaly in on a gm patch set... such as 24=nylon guitar, 25=steel string and so on.. just an easier way for a setup situation.
