Finding a synth specific soundfont is rather difficult. There are a couple sites you can check, however if the font is not there, then you probably wont find it anywhere. Try these: http://www.sf2midi.com/index.php and http://www.hammersound.net
Your best bet would be to google around for either the soundfont or to see if anyone has done a sample dump of this. Try Roland's site first. If not there, try sound sample sites. You may have to just build the font yourself. |

Most often times too, that 9 times out of 10, if there isnt a VSTi or DXi synth bassed on it, there probably wont be a soundfont either. There must be Roland modules that are similar to that one with the same sample base. Maybe reserch those and see if you can find similar ones to that. I know there are several Roland fonts out there as well as, do a search on "Timidity samples", they tend to resample roland sounds alot. You can probably build a font based on those.
Now along shot of recreating this is with a virtual sampler that uses system dump info to create the instruments and see if they have that module's profile. you can probably use this to reproduce the sounds. I've used this method a few times to recreate synth's that weren't sampled yet, or atleast not released as a mainstream. Roland does have a sample cd called History of roland that is created in AKAI format. That has a great deal of roland synth and sampler banks. |

one more thing you can try is to goto http://www.sf2midi.com and place an iquiry there. On the right side of the site there's a place to post questions and things. There are active users on the site and fonts are added almost all the time.

Kurzweil has a cd with the MKS-20 sounds, you can check it here http://www.kurzweilmusicsystems.com/...s.html?Id=1497
You can always get the cd and use cdxtract or chicken systems translator to convert these to sf2's |
