sf2 names logic
i installed kx drivers on my sbLive and loaded soundfonts in eMagic logic but instrument names don't appear.
please somebody help me! |

i use logic's exs24 for soundfonts when i use them

Check to see if you are using the new sfman32.dll that resulved the issue in cubase. It should be around 10k or so. Make sure that's in the system32 folder or copy it to logics main folder. See if that works.
Maybe it's time for me to install logic to see what all the issues with it is.. maybe...

i'm not really a soundfont user… but as far as i kno in logic the midi channels use the generic gm bank names no matter what, and cannot load sfs, unless you use the exs24

That's what I always thought too. I've never seen logic use soundfont names.
