Portamento effect
Good evening,
does anyone know if it is possible to use the MIDI Portamento effect with SB Live! 5.1? In some readme file I've read that it is under development. The Creative standard driver doesn't seem to support this effect, too. Is Portamento really a pure software effect or is it a hardware feature that can be adressed via a certain controller ![]() Thank you! |

no, portamento seems to be a software effect
however, the present MIDI specifications are rather unclear concerning it (including GM, GM2, GS & XG) /E |
