An idea for kX and Sonar/Cakewalk, but I'm not a programmer...

I just installed Midi Quest XL and it has a great feature to be integrated as MFX in Sonar or Cakewalk. Perhaps this would also be an idea for a soundfont handler for kX? Just like LeMury did for Cubase using VSTi-technology. The only problem is that I am not a programmer so someone else should build it...

greetings,

Harm

No, but there is a DirectX / VSTi adapter, but I haven't yet tried it with LeMury's plugin

Yes, using MFX/Dxi it should be possible to write a SF manager for Sonar.
Unfortunataly, after beeing a Cakewalk user/fan for years I got very dissapointed when they released Sonar.
I'm truly sorry to admit that (IMHO ofcourse) Cubase SX outperforms Sonar on almost every field.
After writing kXSFi, having proper SoundFont support again, I finaly switched to Cubase SX enjoying
rockstable, fast and smooth VSTi/ASIO performance with kX.
(Although I must admit I miss the excellent MIDI editing features of CW)
Anyway; I can not motivate myself to write such sf manager for Sonar.
Besides, Sonar's SF manager is much better then SX's wich doesn't work at all.
