status of fixing attack/release problem?
Last time I saw discussion about the problem was in these threads I think:
http://www.hardwareheaven.com/showthre...threadid=10754 http://www.hardwareheaven.com/showthre...&postid=228177 Is there a status update? I tried to download the tool but the link is dead. Anyways, I'm interested to help what I can now that I think I will have some free time. I've been trying to play around with kx in driverstudio but getting nowhere. I don't see a lot of documentation on this (actually only the 10k1 overview), not that I expect much, but I'd like to see what's done (if it is being worked on) since I don't have cl driver either (running xp)... |

that tool is over 6 months old, incomplete and for win 98se only - it won't help you there
have you tried using a software sampler to play the sf's?

It seems very hard to solve these problems with sf's or it is very low on Eugene's priority list, but in my opinion one should still prefer hardware over software if one could chose...

after certain tests it seems the attack problem is quite complex
its nature is currently unknown and it is unrelated to the attack register (hardware) more research is necessary /Eugene |

if its unrelated to the hardware - is it an issue with the software controlling the envelope?

it is related to the way the software controls the hardware
however, the most simple solution of the problem -- the 'attack' register seems to be unrelated to this issue, so, the problem is somewhere else... /E |
