MY PC doesn´t know the midi-keyboard

hello, I´m sorry, I´m a musician but a newbie in midi and stuff. I´vo got a roland pc-180a midi-keyboard, it ist connected to my soundcard (sblive 5.1 player) on the gameport. The device manager only says "creativelabs gameport" so I don´t know if it´s installed right. Iwant to use reason 2, but when I touch the keys there´s no sound :-( drumcomputer in reason is working properly. my pc: athlon 14, Ghz, 256 mb ddr-ram, nvidia geforce2, xp prof. thanks a lot
