i have an "unknown"input.is it normal?
2 problems:
1 input is signed as "unknown"on kx.what is it? i have sb0060 platinum 5.1 mixer shows those input: AC97 ,cdspdif, zvideo i2s ,"unknown",line2,spdif,aux 2 ..is it the line-in (i'm not using at the moment). 2) MORE IMPORTANT:i have a simul amp machine connected with 2 MIdi-cable (in-out) at pc ,through the midi in and outs of the Livedrive.. the problem ..the PC doesn't see anymore the machine (i think is livedrive MIDi input problem). the midi drivers are the Uart, correctly? i connect through a program : "line6edit" ,a program interface to control the simulamp from pc (setting, parameters). when i use it ,the simula-amp is reacting, but i can't receive the midi signal from the simul (to see what i'm changing).. so i guess is midi in problem. Where i can find parameters /slider/buttons regarding MIDI IN on kx? i have to sayth. is was working the first time installed kx,now not anymore, even ith the "default settings"

this is normal (same with my old sb0060 card)
this input changes to ac97 2 for 10k2 cards, it is the register for the second ac97 codec on most 10k2 boards

or u mean something like "channel 2" (dunno where to find that setting on kx).
my simul amp transmit on channel 1 ,as the application "line6edit" wants it to see that simul amp
