HRR,
1.Mediaplayers like WMP use the default MIDI device as specified in your 'Multimedia Properties'. So set it to use 'kX Synth2' or 'kX Synth1'. 2.Load a GM (general midi) compatible SoundFont into kX at bank 0, both synths. That's it. /LeMury |

1 SoundFont File contain: - 1 or more 'Banks' These Banks contain: - 1 or more 'Presets' These Presets contain 'Instruments' For example; example.sf2 -> bank 0 -> Presets 0~127 (See Vienna Soundfont editor for details on soundfont structure.) So what exactly is the problem? What is it that you are trying to achieve? Choosing (selecting) Presets from a particuliar bank manualy? If so, that always depends on what MIDI application you use. Most likely you are reffering to CL's 'Soundfont Preset browser/player applet' where you can see the contents of loaded Soundfonts and play them manualy. If so; kX does not have such a "toy". Most musicians/users will use a Sequencer like Cubase or Sonar for that. You can also use MIDIOX for that.
